Overview

What is the Ritual

Hasta Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic hand, wrist and forearm massage using warm herbal oils. Gentle Ayurvedic massage techniques are used across the hands, wrists and forearms to help ease everyday tension and stiffness and encourage relaxation.

In Ayurveda, the hands also contain important Marma points — vital energy junctions traditionally associated with the flow of prana. Hasta Abhyanga combines warm oil, therapeutic touch and focused attention to this often-overworked part of the body.
