Last updated: 2 August 2026
You can ask us to do any of the things below. There is no charge, and asking will never affect the care you receive.
What you can ask for
- Access a copy of your information — Receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and how we use it.
- Correct your information — Have inaccurate details corrected, or incomplete details completed.
- Ask us to delete your information — We delete what we can. Where accounting, clinical or legal-claims retention applies, we explain exactly what is kept and why.
- Ask us to restrict how we use it — We keep the record but stop using it, other than for storage, while a question is resolved.
- Object to our use of your information — Object where we rely on legitimate interests, or to direct marketing at any time.
- Receive your information in a portable format — Receive the information you gave us in a structured, machine-readable file.
- Withdraw your consent — Withdraw marketing or waiting-list consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect your appointments.
- Something else — Tell us what you would like us to do.
How long it takes
We respond within one calendar month of receiving your request. If your request is complex we may need up to two further months; if so we will tell you inside the first month and explain why.
There is no charge for making a request. We do not ask for identification unless we have a genuine doubt about who you are, and if we do we ask only for what is needed to be sure.
